SEATTLE — A proposal by MacFarlane Partners for a 25-story apartment tower in South Lake Union will get its first look by a city design-review board next month.

A meeting is scheduled for 8 p.m. April 2 at Queen Anne Community Center, at 1901 First Ave. W.

Plans call for 320 units above 2,100 square feet of retail and underground parking for 190 vehicles.

Ankrom Moisan is the architect and Exxel Pacific is the general contractor.

The site, 901 Harrison St., is home to City Hardware and Kaufer’s Religious Supplies. The building would be demolished.

San Francisco-based MacFarlane Partners has two other projects in the pipeline in South Lake Union, a 174-unit apartment building at 777 Thomas St. and a 78-unit building at 201 Westlake Ave. N.
