The Manning is a 142-unit multifamily podium project, located in the master planned Barkley Village Development, in Bellingham. The apartment community includes a gym amenity space and a large commercial space on the ground floor. Building on the master plan’s goals for a true urban village, the development seeks to draw in the community and add vibrancy to the area. Two new streets are being designed around the perimeter of the site to connect Rimland Drive and Manning Street to the site. Ramble Place, the street on the north side, will be the first section of a future “Green Street” with landscaping for pedestrian engagement and to discourage vehicular traffic.
