Work started in April on the multifamily, garden-style community in Kennewick.

General contractor Exxel Pacific is underway on a new 195-unit apartment project in the Southridge neighborhood of Kennewick.

Havenridge Apartments, located at 4303 S. Zintel Way, is the Bellingham-based contractor’s sixth project for Evergreen Housing Development Group.

The multifamily, garden-style community will have one-, two- and three-bedroom units in three five-story buildings.

Milbrandt Architects is the designer for Havenridge.

On its project website, Evergreen says it was designed “to balance convenience with a peaceful residential setting.” The location offers easy access to regional shopping, employment and outdoor recreation.

An amenity building will offer a 24/7 fitness center, pool, spa and outdoor BBQ areas.

Work started in April and is expected to be finished in September 2027.

Separately, over in Island County, Exxel Pacific has also started work on a 49-unit multifamily project for Bayview Vista LLC. Located at 1130 S.E. Ely St. in Oak Harbor, the new Bayview Vista will be a three-story garden-style apartment development. Glenn Wells is the architect. Work started there in March and is expected to be finished in March of 2027.
