Alliance Residential Co. has opened Broadstone Koi apartments at 1139 N.W. Market St. in Ballard.
The 166-unit, two-building complex has a mix of studio to two-bedroom floor plans and 12 live-work units at street level.
Units average 708 square feet, ranging from 450 to 1,100 square feet.
Alliance said it wanted the six-story project to appeal to a young demographic that rents by choice. Active gathering spaces and tech-savvy features were among the design components intended to appeal to this group.
Amenities include a clubroom, fitness club, rooftop deck with grilling areas, and a landscaped courtyard with a fire pit and seating. Some units have private patios that open to the courtyard.
Rents for available apartments range from $1,230 to $2,480.
